London Skyline

I spent way too much time on this. ;___; Do you know how long it takes to pixel the London skyline? A lot of time.

First I had to look through the list of topics available. I chose London Then I had to develop an idea on how to make the London Skyline. I'm crap at traditional drawing, so I wanted to use my animation and pixeling skills as much as possible.

So I came up with the idea of pixeling the London skyline and somehow making the image move. I went through a bunch of different images of London, and then started my pixel work. First up was Big Ben, because I knew it was going to take the longest. I put a lot of detail into him (ughhh x_x). Then I started going across and making all the other landmarks.

The Eye was a bloody pain. I went mad trying to make it look as realistic as possible. I spent days going back and fixing it up.

Animating the whole thing took ages. I had to crop the image and then use a crap load of frames and layers ;__; Simultaneously I had to make the rain move. I was going to make the rain smaller and more pixelated but I changed my mind and stuck with this.

Tools used: Wacom Bamboo Tablet, laptop pad.
Time spent: Two weeks. This also explains why I haven't been adding a lot of other artwork these past few weeks, I've been too focused on this.
